Sun, Beach, & Mojo...

It's been a blistery winter, but from yesterday's shoot, you'd never know! That's what made this so much fun... well, that, and the Berkowitz family is a blast regardless of weather! Okay, there could have been another factor in yesterday's excitement.
I found my mojo.
This was my first session here in our new state. We've been in Oregon 6 months already- but it's been a very busy 6 months. After spending the first 3 months finishing out my work in CA, I've finally been able to focus on establishing myself in our new home state. I have to admit, after weeks of not shooting, I started to doubt my ability to be successful here. But all of that vanished after yesterday's shoot. You see, Hallie (mama pictured above) also loves photography. And she's great! So the pressure was on. But seeing her reaction to the pics I showed her just looking through the viewfinder, I was reminded of how much I love that! And instantly, I got my mojo back. The rest of the shoot was all about having fun and freezing those few moments to be remembered and kept forever.
